BECOMING A KUAN YIN LINEAGE HOLDER 

The Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Program is a unique journey that empowers you to share the sacred Da Bei Zhou (Great Compassion Mantra), while deepening your connection with Kuan Yin (Compassion Buddha), the entire Kuan Yin Lineage, and the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of Da Bei Zhou. 

This program is not only a path of personal growth and spiritual purification — it is also a profound opportunity to serve others. Through a special spiritual transmission, you will receive Kuan Yin’s Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes empowering you to offer Crown Chakra and non-Crown Chakra blessings for a wide range of requests, in person and remotely.

KUAN YIN LINEAGE HOLDER LICENSE AGREEMENT AND ROYALTY FEES

Before registering for the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Program, you must sign the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder License Agreement. This legal agreement is valid for one year and is renewed annually each January. It outlines the terms for partnering with Universal Soul Service Corp. and provides the structure needed to align with the program’s guidelines. Please note that the agreement is available in English only.

As part of the signing process, you’ll be asked to provide a business name. If you do not currently have a business, you may simply use your legal name—no formal business setup or significant financial investment is required. Check your local laws and regulations, as starting a business is often easier and more affordable than you might expect.

As a Kuan Yin Lineage Holder, you will be responsible for paying a royalty fee based solely on the services you provide (starting at 10 percent). There is no required monthly fee. This royalty serves as a sacred offering to honor the power and virtue entrusted to you through this role.











APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION PROCESS

The Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Program is open exclusively to certified Da Bei Zhou Compassion Messengers. While certification is the only formal prerequisite, spiritual approval is also required.

After successfully completing all requirements of the Da Bei Zhou Compassion Messenger Certification Program, including passing the Da Bei Zhou chanting assessment and becoming certified, you may apply for the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Program. Your application will initiate the spiritual guidance process and help determine your readiness to take the next step on this sacred path.

Eligible applicants who receive spiritual approval will be invited to review the sample Kuan Yin Lineage Holder License Agreement and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document referenced above, confirm their readiness to proceed, and sign the official License Agreement. Once the signed agreement has been received, applicants will be provided with a registration link to enroll in the program.

•   Applications for spiritual approval close: Saturday, July 25, 2026
•   Registration closes: Saturday, August 15, 2026


TUITION

The total fee for the program is $5,000 CAD. This includes the VOD training, live coaching sessions, and the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes (Qian Shou Qian Yan) Transmission.

Payment option — pay in two (2) instalments:

•   First payment of $2,500 CAD due at registration.
•   Second payment of $2,500 CAD automatically recharged 30 days after your first payment.

LANGUAGE

This training program will be offered in English. Translation support may be available in Dutch, French, and German depending on student registration and translator availability.

Please note that not all VODs, written materials, handouts, assessments, or course resources may be available in every translated language. In addition, all official communications from Tao Academy will be provided in English only.

TRAINING SCHEDULE

The following training elements will be delivered through the Tao Academy e-Learning system. Replays will be available on your course page through December 31, 2026.

•   Live Orientation Class: Saturday, August 1, 2026, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm ET

•   Five (5) Videos-on-Demand (VOD) Training Classes (60–75 minutes each): released released Mondays, August 3, 10, 17, 24, and September 14, 2026 

•   Four (4) Live Coaching Sessions: Thursdays, August 6, 1:00–2:15 pm ET, August 13, 3:30 pm – 4:45 pm, September 3 and 17, 1:00 pm – 2:15 pm ET

•   Live Celebration Event: Thursday, September 10, 2026, 1:00–2:30 pm ET
     – Special gathering to receive the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Thousand Hands Thousand Eyes (Qian Shou Qian Yan) Transmission

CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

Kuan Yin Lineage Holders who successfully complete the following requirements by Monday, October 12, 2026, 11:59 pm ET, will be eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion from Tao Academy. 

NOTE: Receiving a Certificate of Completion does not signify certification as a Kuan Yin Lineage Holder. The certificate simply acknowledges that you have successfully completed the program requirements.

1.   Complete the viewing of five (5) Video-on-Demand (VOD) classes.
2.   Participate in four (4) live coaching sessions or watch the replay.
3.   Receive the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes (Qian Shou Qian Yan) Transmission.
4.   Pass the final online quiz with a minimum score of 80 percent.
5.   Complete, submit, and successfully pass the evaluation of five (5) Practitioner Session Reports documenting the results of offering Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes blessings, following the guidelines provided. (See the next section for details.)


PRACTITIONER SESSION REPORTS

One of the requirements to receive a Certificate of Completion is to complete, submit, and successfully pass the evaluation of five (5) Practitioner Session Reports (PSRs) that document your experience and the results of offering Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Thousand Hands and Thousand Eyes blessings. These reports are a valuable part of your learning journey and help demonstrate your alignment with the transmission and service practices.

•   Each PSR must be submitted individually using the online form available on your Tao Academy course page. You’ll answer a series of questions for each submission.
•   To qualify, all five PSRs must be submitted by Monday, October 12, 2026, 11:59 pm ET. Once all five of your PSRs have been reviewed, you will be notified of your overall results. Please allow time for the review process, as each submission is carefully reviewed. 

ONGOING TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

To continue your learning and stay updated with the latest teachings and guidance, Kuan Yin Lineage Holders are encouraged to attend monthly gatherings, the Heart Sutra Retreat, and other Da Bei Zhou and Kuan Yin Lineage Holder-related events (separate honor fees may apply). 

It is also recommended that you join the private Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Facebook Group where you can engage in Da Bei Zhou chanting, receive teachings, and connect with Kuan Yin Lineage Holders and Master Sha’s Leading Teachers. 

These gatherings offer important opportunities to receive new Kuan Yin and Tao wisdom, secrets, and practices to further your spiritual journey. 

PROGRAM POLICIES AND REFUND INFORMATION

Please review the Tao Academy Student Refund Policy for details regarding cancellations, withdrawals, and eligibility for refunds. Due to spiritual consideration, no refunds will be given for Tao Light Transmissions once received.

Kindly note that all aspects of the Kuan Yin Lineage Holder Program—including content, schedules, fees, and live sessions—are subject to change. Tao Academy reserves the right to adjust the program structure or timing as needed to best support student learning and program delivery. Any significant changes will be communicated to students in a timely manner.
